 * So with the event manager plugin I can create events. These can be collectively
   displayed in an event page, or as individual events.
 * However, I already built all of my site’s functionality around displaying posts.
   Therefore I would like to save these event’s as individual posts so they can 
   be displayed as posts in my website. Therefore mantaining all of the tag and 
   category functionality that I already have in my site’s widgets

   I added the searchbox to my site [http://loopr.mx/wp/](http://loopr.mx/wp/) and
   I think it looks great!
 * I have a small question that isn’t regarding the display but rather the functionality
   of the search.
    Do you know how to make it so that the wp search will also look
   at my categories and tags and not only post title&content?

 * I’m having the exact same question. Could you direct us to an appropriate place
   to look for how to do this? Or which pages we should be editing. I am an experienced
   coder but completely new to the wordpress CMS
