Yeah not sure either, at one time I updated and it went back to free and while you work around that for sure it’s best to have them be on their respective different update / release paths.
PS: I still love how great it works all together 🙂 Don’t get me wrong on that, I love what it does for our interactions!
As a fellow WPML user and user of the pro version of NotificationX I would love to see that become an option (at least for comments). And yes as detailed by the team it’s now all shared among languages.
But which content get’s shown by NotificationX heavily depends on what you are using as a source. For example for comments it could perhaps be handled even better by also storing the ICL language code of the item the comment was made on, which can then be filtered on showing.
But if you are showing woocommerce purchases … well that does not contain user generated content (it only shows the purchase), and so only serves a simple translation. (which is still possible with current WPML / NotificationX)
Just thinking out loud here.
@tushar284 there is no better way for us endusers to discuss / talk about feature request then here I guess? As there is no general support forum for Pro members on WPDeveloper.net (or am I mistaken?)
Perhaps setting something up like Trello / UserVoice for feature requests would be an idea? That way we can still voice what we would like to see, others would be able to show interest and you as developers could look into what is ‘hot’ and feasible.

Great that you got back to me so soon.Cool, but if you had to estimate; would this be short term (upcoming month), mid term (in upcoming 3 months) or a long term (in the upcoming 6 months or longer) coming item?
Mostly wondering because I don’t want to nag about this too much.
Either way, I look forward to this making it into NotificationX (Pro).

As we currently can set the period and amount adding a random factor would be very welcome there to diversify what people get. It makes it more dynamic in that way.
So I’m all for that suggestion.@shamser_suzon any word on if this is something you are going to do in the future?

Yeah I looked real quick at the file and saw that check.
But not sure why it would fail then with the mentioned error.
Let me check someting real quick + also where and how they declare it.Hmmm … their FreemiusBase.php is exactly the same.

I wanted to start using Simple Sitemap Pro (for generating a decent HTM-ish Sitemap … as it will be helpful for general overview of a website and SEO).
They use Freemius on their end as well.After enabling there Pro version (which uses Freemius) the error;
type E_ERROR on line 49 of /plugins/notificationx-pro/extensions/freemius/inc/freemius/FreemiusBase.php. Cannot declare class Freemius_Api_Base, because the name is already in usePopped up in the NotificationX Pro, FreemiusBase.php file.
I am guessing it is being redeclared now. Which can’t happen because well it’s already in use.But I was unsure how to deal with that. So that’s when I reached out.
Does that help in any way?

Chiming in real quick, translating in itself would be great, dont get me wrong.
But my main issue for opening this is; NotificationX is not aware of the current language when using WPML.This means Dutch comments will show on English pages / cpt / etc. And vice versa.
In an ideal situation NotifcationX would be aware and only give back comments related to the current language of a page / cpt / etc.This can be easily checked with a WPML constant; ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE which will return a two digit language code (for example nl or en)
Still looking forward to the compatibility as it will be another great sell point for NotificationX Pro.

Yeah that is what I figured would be normal behavior.
But I can confirm that it did register “Someone” where a Guest commenter actually had a name which is accessibel through comment_author and is shown by default in the core WP backend.Hope you can get that resolved in the future.
Just thought I should let you know this is happening.But keep up the great job you guys are doing with NotificationX.
