 * Exactly. I would like to add hreflang and some other code only on the homepage
of my blog. If I choose my homepage not to be the static page, but to show the
   latest posts (like here: [https://i.imgur.com/RaHKeXr.png](https://i.imgur.com/RaHKeXr.png)),
then my homepage is not visible in the “pages” menu in my wordpress admin centre
and I cannot add any specific code to it. My only choice is to add the code site-
   wide or not at all.
 * Now it would be even better to be able to add specific code also in the specific
category/tag or author. So if someone goes to example.com/author/John/ or example.
com/categories/internet/, he is served a different code. I’m not sure if that
is possible from a technical point of view though.
