 * I have tried many of the things suggested here, and cannot get any of my desktop
apps to work. I’ve tried to set up MarsEdit, MacJournal, Ecto and nothing seems
to want to work. I would prefer using MacJournal since I have the free version
2.6. I can’t even seem to get my email posting to work. The problems seem to
be linked to the location of the xmlrpc.php file or the blog id. I tried looking
into the folder structure using Fetch to find the file path, but that doesn’t
resemble anything I’ve seen posted and hasn’t seemed to work anyway. I found
the file in the wp-includes folder and it was named wp-xmlrpc.php.
