  • Hi Pim,
I just got the same problem using version 4.3 of the plugin.

All my image urls are left to localhost.

I am speaking of the url on my page, not inthe database.

I think this is because I am using the DIVI theme. Unfortunately I cannot edit my page in HTML mode with this theme or all my work will be lost.

I have to reload each image on my page 🙁

    Hello Cory
    Thanks for your answer.

I have just finished my cloning with another plugin.

If it can help to improve Duplicator, let’s say that I got a degraded main page (I am using DIVI theme) but not a blank page.

And when trying to login I had “Page not found” error I suppose because of the double path I saw at the bottom of my firefox windows.

I have downloaded all the php file to make a grep for this double path, but with no results. This was with WP 4.2.4

The temporary folder variable seems to have disapeared from the wp-config file with wp 4.3

Hope next time I will use Duplicator I will have more success.

    Regards

    Paddy

    Hmmm…

Finally I was too much enthousiast with xcloner…

I’ve just discovered that the path for my images was not updated. After cleaning the cache, I had to specify again each image I use from the media library.

Still now, I have difficulties to display images in the media library.

    🙁

Finally I got a pb with the WP_TEMP_DIR variable in the wp-config.php file (thus I was not able to download plugins).

Seems to be a wordpress Bug, I corrected using this hack :

    define(‘WP_TEMP_DIR’, ABSPATH . ‘wp-content/’);

I got the same problem with Duplicator, the plgin I tried first.

But Duplicator also scrambled my main page et get me a double pathing bug 🙁

I am really happy with Xcloner 🙂

Sorry I just registered to wordpress.org and I made a mistake, this post was for evaluation purpose, not for assistance request.
I repost it immediatly in the right place.
