Worked like a treat. I used the ftp method as I had my ftp program logged in already. Just found the problem. The footer entries were in the openhook plugin. I have “Thesis” selected in the “Selected Theme to Edit” drop down menu on the right in the Editor screen. There is no footer.php in the list of files to edit under “Thesis” theme. * I didn’t know about child themes for Thesis framework?
