 * I’m having the same issue. Getting the “Checking Credentials…” then hanging. 
   It is not a conflict with my theme (Responsive) as it was working. I deleted 
   the theme completely and started from scratch and still have the same problem.
   It could be a plugin conflict, but I have no idea which one. Do you have any 
   suggestions?
