I tried flushing the cache but it didn’t make any difference. The ability to record a cash payment method makes sense ( and really seems strange not to have it), especially for split payments. It doesn’t store card information, or retrieve saved cards. * Our workaround to a similar situation is to take the order and authorize the card for an amount +10% (or whatever the maximum cost would be). After completing the invoice and making the adjustment, we can capture the exact amount. The product someone purchases is described as “price by weight” and price will be adjusted after weight. Alternatively with some custom code or checkout customization, you could add a “product” at checkout that with disclosure to the customer then authorizes an amount (say, $10) higher than the invoice total so you can capture the exact amount after adjustments.
