 * Clean install did it. Something was corrupted. All fixed now. On to my first 
   WordPress website. Thanks for all the amazing help.

 * Too bad it doesn’t work for me.
 * I have done all those things. I get the login page. I use my username and password.
   It lets me in and I get a blank screen. Nothing.
 * I’m one step closer – I can read the “Read Me” file now. Still no admin panel.
   If I manuall type in the “index.php” all I see is three characters on a blank
   screen as well.
 * What else can I do? There’s something wrong here if you can see a blog or admin
   panel and I can’t – Firefox or Safari – nothing’s happening.
 * Does it help to add that after I enter my login information, the URL does not
   change? It still says “wp-login.php”. I would think I should be redirected to
   another URL at this point. If I type in a fake password – just for kicks – I 
   do get the error message and am asked for a correct password, so that works.
