   tinkered around eventually discovered it was in conflict with a script in my 
   theme. I’ll check out the plugin for future use.

 * Having this same problem. Wordfence has successfully locked me out of its plugin.
   Congratulations guys! And I see this is an issue that has been going on for a
   long time. (Two years?) I’ve tried a number of work arounds suggested on other
   boards. None have worked. GET SOMEBODY TO FIX THIS. THIS IS CRAZY.
