 * Good news everyone! It took 72 hours, but the google adsense ads are showing 
   now. So the solution is just to have patience.

 * Hello Joachim,
 * Yes, the plugin I used is the official one. As of now it is almost 72 hours without
   ads showing.
 * Beside here, I have also created a post in AMP plugin support forum where a plugin
   support member also stated that everything seems configured fine and I should
   wait 3-4 until the ads populate the site.
 * I created a post in the Google Adsense Help Community where I have not received
   an answer as of now.

 * I confirm that amp ads are showing in the Ad Settings Preview page in my AdSense
   account.
