SO basically it I have wasted hours on this for a theme I can’t use. The only thing I wanted was a landing page and that is what it said I could do. I don’t need any of the free stuff or at least not most of it. What a pain. Time to spend hours looking for another theme again. I must have confused it with another one and thought that I had those sections available. Now As I recall I was ticking and unticking boxes to see how the theme worked. But I don’t know where I was doing that. I thought it might be in widgets but in customize it says there are no widgets assigned, so I guess that is not where I am supposed to go. The site is a full width, no sidebars, single landing page . I just want to add the sections I need. Also… is there a place where I can choose what icons appear in the “Home featured bax” ? I didn’t realize that a theme could affect how the dashboard interface works. I would have thought that was a wordpress issue. I am trying to configure the form so that it will go to a yahoo email. As I said previously I got the sense that this might be problematic but I wasn’t sure if yahoo was a problem for the “to” field or just the “from” field. OK so I was correct in my original assumption that the mail was coming to me from my website ( well actually to someone else involved with the site but same difference). * Now there is something in the documentation about using [wordpress@mydomain.com](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ngolay/replies/wordpress@mydomain.com?output_format=md) as a from address right…is that literally “wordpress”@etc. ? Is that automatically generated or do I need to create one from the sites cpanel or whatever they are using? ( I am helping out on a site that is not mine so there is some info I don’t have yet). * In the current form, the “to” field just says [your email]. I didn’t configure the form but I think that is a mistake. Based on the documentation regarding tags, I think that would send it to the person who filled out the form right?. * I know they would like it to go to a yahoo email, but if I understand correctly that could be problematic??? I was just thinking of configuring their settings in the cpanel to forward to the yahoo email as I did for mail on my domain. * Is it possible to put the same address in both the “to” and “from” fields? I didn’t realize this initially but when I could not find a solution and deactivated my theme and deleted all files and then reinstalled and activated and when I went to create a page I realized that the blank template was no longer available. That is when I guessed that it had been associated with the plug in but for some reason had not disappeared when I deactivated and uninstalled the plugin. My suspicions were confirmed when I received a somewhat cryptic reply from the plugin’ support to whom I had written. He said I was getting the un wanted text because I was using the blank page template. But this of course does not explain a) why the message appeared in the middle of the page across my graphics in the top half of the page( rather than at the bottom), b) why I could not edit it out or c) why the blank page template had not disappeared when I removed the plugin. So, long anser short: get rid of or do not use the blank page template by WP Leads Plus and you should be fine.
