    I presume this is why I get “no credentials” on a blank page when I try to connect this widget to my Twitter account?

    Thanks Stefano.
    I’ve been trying to access & dump my Newsletter tables from my site’s phpMyAdmin but the only Newsletter* tables there relate to my new (subdomain) installation (so they are empty), whereas the full Lists are still up on my old (root) Newsletter installation, so I’m still lost!
    I don’t mind re-importing the lists but I just didn’t want to re-mail unconfirmed or unsubscribed addresses.

    Thanks Stefano.
    I can of course create different language versions of a mail-out to send to language-specific Lists, but there seems to be only one version (so one language) of subscription form fields. This is where I would need to have for example, in “Main profile fields” –
    Email > Error message: [:en]Email address is not correct[:fr]L’adresse mail n’est pas valide[:]
    Is there another way to make these texts language-dependent?

    I’m trying this now but also get “Can’t open that file: No such file or directory (line 93, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/ftp.class.php)” though the destination folder has 777 permissions.
    I presume the folder path should begin as displayed in FTP (FileZilla for me) – /home/mysite/www/…?

    Also, I don’t use any of the Cloud options offered but do use others (e.g. hubiC). How can I stipulate a different server?

    Several Support Qs are marked as “Resolved” but the solution isn’t published!?

    OK thanks, I checked but didn’t apply them as I’ve got it all back up again…

    But I don’t understand how the redirects work, because they all point to/from mysite.com only; no reference to mysite.com/WP3/, yet the theme & all the content is in WP3!
    Even the login is accessed via mysite.com/wp-login.php yet all the config files are actually in /WP3/

    All the internal links in the site were originally in mysite.com/WP3/ and WordPress Address (URL) was mysite.com/WP3/, so as WP3 has now “disappeared” I’ve had to edit all internal links to mysite.com/as if that’s where my site is, but it isn’t, only I don’t know where the redirect command from /WP3/ is now. (It’s not in .htaccess, not in Settings, not in the db & not in www/index.html!)

    It would be fine like that but I have uploaded my NEW site on /WP/ & I need to know how to activate it, access it & edit it.

    Actually, when I re-save settings in admin or the db, www/.htaccess resets to

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    <strong>RewriteBase /</strong>
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    <strong>RewriteRule . /index.php [L]</strong>
    </IfModule>
    # END WordPress

    Thanks James, I did that –

    I’ve tried changing the addresses in the database [ options>siteurl & options>home ] but the result is worse (text on the site is haphazard, no access to admin)

    The only way to get back to admin is to set siteurl and home both to http://www.voxappeal.com. I can then open admin & the site displays without all the media.
    And then in admin, if I set WordPress Address (URL) back to mysite.com/WP3 (as it was originally & where my WP is installed), the site loses its layout (as well as media) and my WP login page defaults to a 404.

    I’ve checked my .htaccess; in www I have –

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /WordPress3/
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /WordPress3/index.php [L]
    </IfModule>
    # END WordPress

    and in www/WP3/.htaccess I have –

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>
    # END WordPress

    but I’m not sure this has a bearing on the issue.

    I’d also like to know, thank you.

    There’s no blog. It was just a once/year Best Wishes mail.
    The server is OVH so no, not on any blacklist.

    Sorry, but how do you post a new thread/question? The only option I see is to reply!

    My html test mail went straight into spam. My server is the same one all my mail + website are hosted on (OVH).

    The “html test email part” of the “both textual and html email” didn’t. Neither did the text-only version (although it would be a shame if that’s all they get).

    Totally agree.

    No doubt I have posted queries that many others have posted, because I’ve no way of finding their posts!

    I want to search for a particular problem within a particular plugin, but all I get are 30+ pages of queries in chronological order only.

    It would be so easy to make WordPress so much better, but the forum is just thrown to the dogs. That also prompts developers to ignore this forum & provide their own, which of course is edited for their commercial interests, and it also means people cannot provide solutions to others with similar problems.

    You could fix this tomorrow.

    I can add the icons as images, but there’s no option to align images horizontally.

    Pretty sure it’s supposed to work a lot more easily than that. Have you tried querying on the SK Themes site?

    Ah. I was wondering about that. Think I’ll wait to update to 1.5.2 then.
    (Doesn’t EVERYone customise pics & fonts & tweak a few styles?)

    Has anyone else had any problems after updating I Am One? And solutions?
