In my case, I could not even login to my dashboard from the update. So I got some help on NS chat and we re uploaded the whole site less the Content and __-Sample.Php (the name of the file escapes at the moment) I left those out so I did not lose my content. Worked! Lucky me… Spider’s Facebook Plugin was corrupt as that is what it told me when logging in and DEMANDING an update before proceeding. Hope this helps as you have someone searching for a resolve. Should not be more then a phone call to your registrar unless you know to login and what the 2 server addresses are like the NS51worldnic for me. Then you will upload the wordpress site to your server usually in a folder named htdocs/ where you will use filezilla by logging in with your creds to your server to then create that htdocs folder (if it does not exist) Probably a 100.00 to your net person will iron out the 2 hours of hassling with customers service of your Registrar and your host. Unless they are one in the same, who BTW MAY walk you thru it?? * You should have the latest FIlezilla downloaded already before calling as you should have the WordPress 4.0 un zipped and ready to go. Because C.S is going to have to set up a Database where you will be creating a user name, password and mysqlv?? (It will make sense once you have been there done that) This was my first time doing an install of a 2nd WP site on my server, so I am sorry to not be able to jot down the steps clearly and simply for you. The trick is to not mess with the WP-setup-config. php just upload log into your manager and run there. You will need to first point your new name at your server. This is done by asking your Server Customer service. IGE:Network solutions is NS51.worldnic.com * You will then have your name pointed at your server. Then in your server you will login and in your file manager there will be a folder named htdocs/ in there is where you will upload your WP 4.0 site after unzipping it. I get a security error stating that GIF PNG and that is all I tried thus far; is a security issue. * So I guess to plan “B” and install a folder on my server and point to it outside of WP to host my SWF files…. It is supposed to be Chrome. However I can understand how it may look as though some of the font was faded or lost. The image was HD and the Font was done in an editor so, I must have lost the resolution in the shrinking of it or saving it with low res, to save space and load faster. I actually took your logo advice and am running a contest on 99 designs right now for a logo to be designed. I just bought Adobe CS6 so I should be able to redoux that header.I made that real quick in Gimp and went back in forth from Gimp and Photoscape. However it does look ok on my end. The Low res is for faster load. I usually decrease quality to 60% before saving and uploading. Kind of a double edged sword there. * Which Browser are looking through? I am looking at it with a Toshiba Laptop HD 1900×700 res through FireFox and it comes out Ok on this end? Are the pics pixilated on your end?
