 * Fair enough.
 * On a semi-related topic – I’ve got a phantom link popping up on my signin page.
   This is another one that I can’t seem to track down, as it does not appear in
   any of my files.
 * Here’s a screenshot: [http://screencast.com/t/bTLiVjrBgB](http://screencast.com/t/bTLiVjrBgB)
 * Any thoughts on how I might eradicate this little fellow? It popped up beneath
   the search bar in my site’s front-end, too, but I used some CSS code to hide
   it. Would obviously prefer to get rid of it completely, but don’t know where
   to start.
 * And I can always make this a separate topic, if needed – just thought I would
   throw it out there, since you seem to know your stuff.

 * Thanks for the quick reply.
 * So I’m guessing I also don’t need to worry about the “mod_fcgid: ap_pass_brigade
   failed in handle_request_ipc function” when it pops up, either?

 * The plugin is now working correctly. I disabled a ton of the modules in the Jetpack
   plugin and turned off W3 Total Cache, and so far I’ve been up and running for
   about 12 hours without a crash.
 * Thanks for the help. It’s much appreciated. 🙂

 * Looks like the post deleted the referring links in my previous post – there are
   4 different links, all of which are most assuredly spam links. I’ve scanned my
   site with Sucuri and didn’t find anything, so I’m at a loss here.

 * Update – disabled the plugin, but still having issues. Debug log is now showing
   an issue related to the theme I’m using. Have reached out directly to the theme
   author for more info.
 * Thanks for the help – if I’m still having issues, I’ll circle back around.

 * Took your advice, and when I checked the debug log, it was enormous- over 500MB.
 * Here’s a sample:

 * There are pages and pages of these, and all of them seem to point back to line
   400 of seo-links.php – is there a recommended fix for this, or should I just
   disable that plugin and call it a day?

 * Our site is hosted via GoDaddy, and they don’t allow for the timeout to be increased.
 * Anything else we can do? Would it make sense to downgrade back to 4.2.1, since
   we weren’t having any problems before the update to 4.2.2?

 * Same thing here – AVG won’t load my site (www.nerdrepository.com), keeps telling
   me that it’s detecting Blackhat SEO Type 1720.
 * Sucuri Site Scan shows that I’m clean. Thoughts?

 * Checked error logs – there are several logs from earlier today, but they’re all
   blank.
 * Also sent a Support Ticket to my hosting provider – here’s what I received in
   reply:
 * Thank you for contacting Online Support. I would be happy to see why you are
   having an issue with upload in WordPress. To fix the issue with WordPress, you
   will need to disable FastCGI.
 * To Disable FastCGI for PHP on Your Linux Shared Hosting Account
    1. Log in to
   your Account Manager. 2. Click the Products tab, then click Web Hosting. 3. Next
   to the hosting account you want to modify, click Launch. 4. In the Settings section
   of the Hosting Control Center, click the File Extension icon. 5. Click edit icon
   to the right of .php and .php5. 6. Select PHP version without FastCGI. 7. Click
   OK to save your changes.
 * Unfortunately, this solution didn’t work. After making the recommended changes,
   I went back and tried to upload the .jpg files from the previous attempt, and
   encountered the same issue.

 * Error logs hadn’t been enabled. Now that they are, I’m trying to recreate the
   issue.

 * At the risk of sounding woefully ignorant – what exactly does that mean?
