In reply to: [iThemes Security (formerly Better WP Security)] Doesn’t hide the backendWell, they did change the way that it hides back-end so that it doesn’t break with certain plugins… For example, if your login in the old version was http://mysite.com/login, now it will be redirected to http://mysite.com/wp-login.php?itsec-hb-token=login… but if you type http://mysite.com/wp-login.php, it will redirect you to the error page you specified… So, hackers still need to know that parameter and it’s value to get to your login page…
Don’t forget that this feature is not enabled by default and that you must go in the Advanced section to enable it…

In reply to: [Microthemer Lite - Visual Editor to Customize CSS] TimesaverWell, this is a private site I built for people buying Microthemer through my link, but my main goal was always to promote Microthemer itself, since I think it’s a wonderful product and I want people to buy it to support it’s development… At this price for an unlimited lifetime license, it’s a no brainer for me…!
The site is https://microthemer.nelmedia.ca

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Serving smaller images for smaller screensThanks for the reply.
Then, do you know if a plugin like Adaptive Images for WordPress (https://wordpress.org/plugins/adaptive-images/) would play fine and work well with your plugin (ex: it resizes the images, and then EWWW reduces the file size) or it could create conflicts?

In reply to: [WPtouch] Missing Argument after upgrade to v4.02I have the same problem (though on a different line)…
What’s strange is that I have a copy of my site on another domain that upgraded fine… but my main one simply don’t want, no matter the version 4.x that I install… I always have to revert to my old 3.x version (via my backup)…
Sad that you haven’t had any answer so far… Hopefully adding my comment here will push it up…

In reply to: [WPtouch] WPtouch 4.0Hi,
Unfortunately, the new version, with the way it handles menu, has a conflict with the popular If Menu (and possibly with any plugin that modifies the menu)…
Can you fix this, for I won’t upgrade until it works together…

In reply to: [WP-SpamShield] Encoding email (mailto)Sorry! So many features, I missed that one!
Man, how can you keep a plugin with so many features free? You don’t seem to have a pro version…

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] More a comment than a problem…Thanks, done it (though it might not get a lot of votes, since the people there might already have the Pro version…)

In reply to: [Responsive Maintenance Pro With Countdown] Problem with countdowNo yet, since the latest update was 6 months ago and that post was 5 months ago…

In reply to: [Responsive Maintenance Pro With Countdown] Problem with countdowJust did a test by changing the WP setting to UTC, and the timer and setting the countdown to 5 min… and it shows 4h05…
SO, it doesn’t even use the WP settings, but the local time (it is local, so I don’t know if it uses the server’s time or the user’s time)… Again, could you change it so it uses WP time settings?
I use BulletProof PRO on few websites as well, but it’s true that it’s interface is really bad and each time we do an update, it’s at least 15-30 min of updates and log deletion and reset… But it’s strong. I use it along with iThemes Security, but don’t use all of iThemes’ features since some are handled by BP… Never tried the free version (or at least if I did, it wasn’t for long and too long ago for me to remember…).

In reply to: [iThemes Security (formerly Better WP Security)] Can't login anymoreHi perfectreputationsnowadmin,
I tried that and it didn’t work… But I solved my problem today: by looking at the error file, I found out that there was a plugin that I updated not long ago that was triggering the “header already sent” error… By deleting that folder/plugin, I was able to log back in… SO, not iThemes at all finally…!

In reply to: Backupbuddy Error #82389: Broken JavascriptI do have this error on a brand new site. I tried disabling all other plugins, but it still doesn’t work.
Strange, because it works everywhere else, even on other sites on the exact same server and domain…

In reply to: [Ultimate Under Construction] Good, but has a lot of place for improvementGreat! I like it when the creator wants to improve and takes critics the right way! Always a good sign!
Yes, it was with the FlipClock, but I think I tried it with the text as well.
Also, if not too hard, base the timer on the time zone specified in WP instead of the UTC time (which seems to be the case right now).
Thank you!
