Yes, that is exactly right, CartBounty will stop saving them in the database. However that does not mean that bots will leave you alone 🙂
Hi @dav74
You can disable ghost carts under CartBounty settings.
Also you can check our Docs here:
https://www.cartbounty.com/abandoned-carts/#prevent-bots-from-leaving-abandoned-cartsGlad to point in the right direction 😉
I just checked your store and see that the ID has been assigned to the email field. I also left a test abandoned cart so you should be able to see it on the back-end.
Thanks, I checked your Checkout form.
Seems like a custom made checkout. The form is missing default WooCommerce checkout form email field IDbilling_email
which is used by CartBounty to identify that this is the email field. That should be the first thing to do and see if that helps or there may be additional issues with the custom checkout form 🙂
Sure, send it over to us via our form here: https://www.cartbounty.com/contact/
Hi @trgsoft4
Thanks for reaching out. No, the Free version should handle guest carts as well.
Do you have a link to your store where I could take a look at what is going on?Hi @creatoo
Oh, I see. It sounds like your database might not support emojis.
The issue might be that yourwp_options
database table collation is not set to supportutf8mb4which
is intended for supporting 4-byte characters like emojis.Could you please make a backup of your database and then change the collation of your tables to something like
utf8mb4_unicode_ci
?This is a task you would like to ask you developer to help you change. Or you could try to go with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/database-collation-fix/
If you do not feel comfortable doing this, you can simply try to remove all emoji icons from all 3 abandoned cart recovery steps and then try saving.
Let me know if you need additional assistance.
Best,
NaurisThanks for reaching out!
I’m afraid currently we do not have any option to exclude specific products from abandoned cart recovery emails. However I’m adding your suggestion / idea to our wish-list.Kind regards,
NaurisHi @creatoo
Thanks for your message.
Not really sure what you are trying to achieve or do. Could you please let me know what is it you want CartBounty to do and what is the issue? 🙂Thank you,
NaurisYou are most welcome! 🙂
It should be fixable, jut not sure what is going on in your custom theme and how it was designed. So the best bet would be to reach out to theme developers to find out the reason for this.
This is just a guess, but it might be that checkout form is generated or created using Ajax after the page and all scripts have already loaded which might be the reason CartBounty does not “see” the input fields. But this is just a guess or direction at what to look at. 🙂
Thanks for reaching out and the positive feedback 🙂
Went over to your store. It seems that you are using some custom Checkout plugin / solution?
Does the issue happen if you switch to a different Theme?Hi, @shakoor99, I’m one of the developers 🙂
Go ahead and ask me your questions.Dear @shakoor99
I’m afraid at the moment all our development efforts are in place to further develop and evolve our product and considering current tasks and priorities it will not be possible to leave our current sprint and start working on a new feature.
Hope you understand.
Best wishes,
Nauris
