How do I create a entirely static page in html and use it as the front page? Not using the template method, as it does not work– and I don’t want to code the page in the text editor in WP. And the reason the navbar and footer shouldnt be on the shared front page, is because the two websites are different (dep2.company.com/ and company.com/home) and therefor shouldnt be branded to either of them. * My theme, ShoeStrap, works in a different way than most themes. Shouldn’t there be an easier way to take control over custom post types.
