Well, I appreciate the free plugin, but to me you’re hiding things. An end-user who is installing for the first time would naturally want to see the settings to configure them. They should not need to hunt and peck for them. The average end user is not a “Dev” so why would they go look for “Dev” mode. I would think that would complicate things even more (and they do). Something as simple as setting the number of required characters in a telephone number should not be hidden and take a brain surgeon to figure out. People were putting just 3 digits in there and the form was sending. That’s not logical. Settings should be “fully seen” and transparent to a user without having to contact me to say, “Why isn’t my telephone number field working?” or “I can’t figure out how to set the telephone number.” And me replying, “Oh, you need to check the box to “Dev” mode.”
I just went to the Settings and checked the box for Dev Mode and I see other fields. Why are these fields hidden in this manner where the average user of your plugin does not have access to them? Why is Dev Mode required? This doesn’t make a lot of sense. A user who may not be a developer would not know to go there and check that box.

In reply to: [Genesis eNews Extended] Fields not showing horizontalJust in case you should still require the answer, if you would want the fields to be displayed horizontally, you would need CSS for that. The plugin only presents in a stacked manner. Hello Pro should already contain that code.

In reply to: [Genesis eNews Extended] Form Opens in New TabThat means you have not filled out the form fields properly. Each field needs to be entered as follows:
For the First name it should be – FNAME
For the Last name it should be – LNAME
For the email field it should be – EMAILEach one should be in all CAPITAL letters.
And make sure the URL to the newsletter is the correct URL.
Oh, @phillcoxon I’m so sorry! It’s the FooGallery Owl Carousel Template plugin causing the issue – https://pasteboard.co/IGnbjCK.png. When I deactivate that, the images are fine and all of the little boxes can be seen. But when I activate the template plugin, I get that wonkiness. Is that one of your plugins now or should I contact Matt? Is there a way to fix it? We have the template plugin on quite a number of websites.
Hi @phillcoxon so here is a new image with the errors from Chrome – https://pasteboard.co/IGlckD6.png.
The links on the right are prefixed with:
/wp-content/plugins/foogallery/extensions/default-templates/shared/img/admin/
When I try to access one of those links by clicking in the Console, I get this – https://pasteboard.co/IGlemmx.png.

In reply to: [Maintenance] Sending Config Info Should Not Be Automatically CheckedIs there an update on this? It is automatically checking that box when I “x” off of it and we cannot uncheck the box in the dashboard. This setting needs to be fixed. I have it on a lot of website and I am will need to go and remove it if this is not fixed.

In reply to: Text or Custom HTML Widget will not save with HTML code in them.I finally was able to resolve this on my own. In the text that was being place in the box was an em dash (—). If it was in there, the widget would disappear. If I removed the em dash, the widget would reappear.
