 * Hey [@msykes](https://wordpress.org/support/users/msykes/), thanks for getting
   back to me (So sorry for the wait, been out of the office for a bit)
   I did some
   testing turning off my plugins one by one and found the culprit. The **User Activity
   Log** by [Solwin Infotech](https://www.solwininfotech.com/) ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-activity-log/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-activity-log/))
   seems to break those parts specifically with the Events Manager Plugin as when
   I deactivated it, they started working again and allowed me to select a colour
   and image. Not sure why a program that is supposed to be keeping tabs on what
   my users and moderators is doing would be doing that, but maybe you would have
   a better idea. Either way, I’ve gotten rid of it entierly as it wasn’t neccisary
   for what I was doing, I just had it to keep tabs on things in case someone working
   on the site changed something.

 * Hey [@joneiseman](https://wordpress.org/support/users/joneiseman/)
   Cheers for
   the reply! Still trying to figure things out, but I have been looking through
   what you’ve sent me as well. The main issue is that I’m trying to make the process
   as simple as possible for the people running the backend of this site as they
   are not developers themselves, and the more steps I add in, the more likely it
   is that something may get stuffed up. I do see what your getting at though, there
   doesn’t appear to be a system for adding tags through code directly, but you
   can add them through events, so I maybe have an idea but I’ll need to see how
   it goes.My idea is maybe make a dummy event that I can use to add tags through,
   and then once the tag has been added using it, delete the dummy event. I don’t
   know if it’ll work but maybe thats a workaround for now.Cheers for the advice
   though!

 * Actually, never mind, I found the form I was looking for regarding the listing
   of the events to edit! Had been looking in the wrong place this whole time, haha.
 * Just wondering about the user level visibility now if there’s a way to achieve
   that.
 * Cheers!

 * Hey Angelo,
 * I had a try of that but it only seems to edit the styling and contents of the
   Event Creation/Event Editing pages. I actually want to try and edit the page
   before the actual editing of the event occurs which displays the events:

 * Also, is there a way to have it so that people of a certain user level can only
   see events from users of that same user level? (E.g. If I have User Level A and
   B, I only want Users from Level A to see Level A events and so on).
 * Cheers!
