In reply to: [Duplicate Theme] Question: Theme optionsHi DanielKomrska,
thanks for using duplicate theme.
You’ll have to look into the WordPress database and check the options table to see how to copy the settings. A lot of themes use different techniques to store their options. Some themes do have the options to export their theme settings too.
Hope that helps.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Duplicate Theme] Removed Duplicate Theme, removed original as well?Hi Rick,
Thanks for using Duplicate Theme. Sorry your original theme was deleted when you deleted the duplicate.
I tried to replicate this issue on a network installation and single WP installation with no success.
When you wrote ‘removed duplicate’, do you mean deleting the theme from the themes admin page?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Duplicate Theme] Duplication Not WorkingHi Nigel,
Thanks for trying to use duplicate theme.
It sounds like your PHP environment might not be set-up to allow Duplicate Theme to function or the permissions on the themes folder is not allowing Duplicate Theme to function.
Are you able to read the error_log from the server? Are you also able to check the permissions on the themes folder?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Duplicate Theme] Making a Child ThemeHi CreativeWP,
Thanks for using duplicate theme.
Duplicate theme does create a duplicate of the theme to make the child theme. It does reference the original theme as the parent theme, but If you do not want to alter the files of the parent theme, you can delete the files you do not want to alter from the child theme. That will ensure the child theme uses the parents’ theme files and not the child themes’ files.
Hope that helps.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Duplicate Theme] Updating the Child ThemeHi jainlv,
One of the safest ways to maintain customization after an update of a theme you have duplicated, is to manually update the original theme, use what ever type of versioning system you have to check the difference between the old and new updated theme and apply those changes to the duplicated theme.
Hope that helps and thanks for using duplicate theme!Forum: Reviews

In reply to: [Duplicate Theme] Duplicated theme getting WP updateHi Indieblitz,
Thanks for posting your issues and solution to the support forum. Having a duplicate or blank name in the ‘New Theme Name:’ field should cause an error. So the next update will have that in place.
Thanks for using Duplicate Theme!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Duplicate Theme] What Next?This plugin should allow you to download your duplicated theme:
Advanced Code EditorForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Duplicate Theme] What Next?Hi FVArtCenter,
As the name of this plugin suggests, it is for duplicating themes, not for downloading themes. So if you would like to download a duplicated theme, you would have to use FTP, or any other program that gives you access to the theme directory, to actually download a copy of the duplicated theme to your local machine.
Thanks for using Duplicate Theme and best of luck!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to remove sale price with bulk edit tool?In ‘Products’ -> ‘Products’ select all the items you want to bulk edit.
Select ‘Edit’ from ‘Bulk Actions’.
In the bulk edit panel, under ‘Product Data’ change ‘Sale:’ option to ‘Change to:’. Keep the input filed empty that appears after selecting ‘Change to:’ and click the ‘Update’ button.WooCommerce stores meta data Sale Price and Price for each product. When sale price meta data is changed to empty it removes the sale price from a product.
Hope that helps.
Hi shah.neel,
Unfortunately yes. For the foreseeable future, after an update, you will have to add the line if( is_super_admin() ), as it will not be in duplicate-theme.php.
If we decide that it is better to only allow super admins to use duplicate theme for network installations, then there will be no need to re-add that line. But you’ll have to view the change log of the updated version to see if we have done so.
Thanks again for using Duplicate Theme!
Please let us know if there are any other issues.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Duplicate Theme] Interesting – blank screen WP 3.7.1It sounds like a White Screen of Death. If you enable WordPress debugging in wp-config.php, change the line:
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
to:
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
you should see more info on what is causing the error.Hey shah.neel,
In duplicate-theme.php below line 43, below:
function register_duplicate_theme_page(){
add:
if( is_super_admin() )
to make:function register_duplicate_theme_page(){ if( is_super_admin() )
This will prevent add_theme_page from running if the user is not a super-admin.
Let me know if you get the White Screen of Death from adding that line, or if any other issues arise.
Thanks for using Duplicate Theme.
cheers,

In reply to: [Duplicate Theme] Interesting – blank screen WP 3.7.1Hi,
Is it the entire admin dashboard goes blank white? or the theme you duplicate is all white?
Are you able to check your error log? If so, could you see if anything is anything in there that is related to the plugin. You can do a search for duplicate-theme and that should narrow down your search.
Thank-you for reporting your issue. We would like to get this plugin working for your network.
