I am having the exact same problem. I just upgrade NGG to the latest version and then this problem started. I tested using the default theme and same issue.
I have tested redoing one of the posts and using the auto-insert and selecting a gallery. Still no go. Any thoughts on this?

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] gallery shortcode broken in wordpress 2.5I have gotten mine to work. The issue with mine was the theme I was using. It was being driven by the Smarty template and as a result it was not working. Once I removed Smarty from the equation everything worked again.
Haven’t researched the “why” with the Smarty template, but it was something that changed from 2.5 to 2.6 because the exact same theme worked in 2.5 and stopped in 2.6.

In reply to: Problems with ShortcodeThe issue was with the theme. The pages had used the smarty template. Once I took that out all the shortcode began to work again. Have not researched the specifics of “why” but will and will post once I do.

In reply to: Problems with ShortcodeI did a complete re-install of the wordpress files and am now on 2.6.2 and still no luck. Any thoughts?
