 * The issue was caused by Redis Cache Plugin ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/redis-cache/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/redis-cache/)).
   Deactivating it and configuring redis cache in litespeed settings solved the 
   issue.

 * I have created a demo product and activated the use of the demo gateway. When
   I place an order and pay, the checkout page reloads prompting me to pay again
   while in the merchant dashboard(demo.pesapal.com) , it shows that a payment has
   been received.
 * In woocommerce orders section, it does not show that there is a new order.

 * Hi,
    The plugin seems to have stopped working since woocommerce upgraded to version
   2.5.5.
