All this would entail for Bob is when he goes to comment on a post of mine he wouldn’t have to fill in the “name” “email” “url” sections because he was given a permenant alias to use when posting comments when he decided to register.” That’d be an interesting feature, which as far as -I know- isn’t implanted right now.
