 * Sorry. You are still wrong– and I already told you why. The main javascript file
here is “jquery.sbscroller.js”, which you have not mentioned at all. “jquery.
mousewheel.min.3.0.6.js” is just an add-on for the main jQuery plugin.
 * I read and read and read and read and READ, and no matter what I tried, I could
not get ANY kind of jQuery working before. Hopefully your latest post is the
   final information I need. We’ll see soon…

 * This is obviously not correct. You didn’t even mention “jquery.sbscroller.js”.
You also are calling in Google’s copy of jQuery when I don’t need it. Everything
you’ve said is stuff that I already know, and at the same time, not enough information
   for me to work with.
 * Don’t I need “wp_enque_script” or whatever? And if I’m going to call in Google’s
copy of jQuery, don’t I need to deregister WordPress’s? And don’t I need to register
   the Javascript files in functions.php?
 * You have only copied every other vague tutorial I have already seen on the net…

 * I’m sorry if you don’t like repeating yourself and I am forcing you to do so.
But are you saying that FPW Category Thumbnails will support pulling the first
image as a thumbnail, overriding the potential category thumbnail; while FPW
Post Thumbnails will have video thumbnail support?
 * From what I understand, FPW Post Thumbnails seems to be a plugin that adds post
thumbnail functionality to a theme that does not already have that functionality.
Therefore, is FPW Post Thumbnails even useful to a theme that already supports
   post thumbnails?

 * Also, I tried those plugins. I did a bunch of searches. Those random image plugins
don’t let the images “stick” once they’ve been randomly chosen. My plan, such
as playing a fair game with dice as described before, just won’t work if the
images change when the page is regenerated.

 * Actually, I’m sorry about that reply to my post. That belonged to a post in bbPress,
not this one. Ooops. But thanks for the support.
 * Also, I’ve seen your site before and I love it. Fantastic job. Anyway, I’m leaving
bbPress, not WordPress. WordPress is freaking fantastic. 🙂
 * I did NOT mean to bump this WordPress post. I am sorry for that.
 * Anyway, I doubt I’ll be able to take the information you gave me and finish fixing
my problem, but I’ll try, and report back with what I find.
 * Thanks for the support here. It’s bbPress that has no support. Sorry for the
   mistake in communication.

 * Alright, I know it’s been only one day, but *bump*
 * Because I’m about to leave bbPress. bbPress just doesn’t work. It doesn’t supply
basic functionality as a WordPress plugin, and there’s nowhere to find any decent
support. And frankly, I don’t have time for this kinda undependability. This
   is just getting old.
 * WordPress needs to remove bbPress as its featured forum software and start supporting
a competent piece of software. If Vanilla Forums wasn’t forcing people to pay
horrible prices, I would have went with them. Gah.

 * By replacing “$” with “jQuery”, I was able to get the mp3 player working without
the line that mentions Google and jQuery. Problem is, I have the same results.
The jQuery stuff below the mp3 player is broken. It seems I have more than one
instance of jQuery called. Can someone please help me fix it? [](http://pastebin.com/h1D7VPBr)

 * Same here. Been trying mp3 players all day. I need a simple bar-like MP3 playlist
that shows track title and author and allows shuffle and loop. Everything else
   is just extra goodies.

   Julie is referring to.
