So it does not get lost. * Maybe even attach “originally published on xdate” at the end of post. * I use the publish date for copyright notification: “DATE © Author”, I would love to republish as my content is very long and burried in history. So my guess is you don’t. * When you enable that option, it shows another one as to allow certain variables( amp in this case), but it doesn’t seem to work. I reported it at [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/url-exclusion-on-ugly-urls-cleaning-is-not-working](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/url-exclusion-on-ugly-urls-cleaning-is-not-working) in case anyone wants to see or is having this problem… if you have Yoast, at least for now, disable “Redirect ugly URL’s to clean permalinks”.
