 * I take some of that back. (Not the thank you, I am still grateful for the assistance).
 * I tested this with a couple other themes (one from iThemes and one from Elegant
Themes) and got the same white screen of death when I tried to activate all the
plug-ins I want to use with both of those. Also I tried the Genesis core theme,
without the child theme, same thing.
 * So, even though I can activate the plug-ins with 2011, since I still have the
LoopBuddy conflict with either Events Manager or Cart66, I now think the problem
is not in the theme. Or at least not just in the theme.
 * Everything works fine with either Cart66 or Events Manager deactivated.
 * (The site is still under development and my client would prefer I not post the
link yet. Since this is only a backend problem (“HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server
Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting
to fulfill the request.” is displayed with Genesis in Chrome) for any page under
wp-admin, I don’t know how the link would help. Will it?)

 * Thank you so much. This is at least part of the problem. When I switch to the
2011 theme I can activate all the plug-ins I am trying to use without the white
screen of death. But the LoopBuddy theme still won’t work with Events Manager
or Cart66 activated. I suppose that means there is a problem in that plug-in
and need to check with that plug-in vendor and also with StudioPress.
 * Thank you so much for helping me narrow this down.

 * Thank you so much for your quick response. This really makes me nervous, so I
deleted the plug-in for now. No other files were changed as far as my logs show,
so if there was a problem with these files, I hope deleting them does the trick.
 * If not hacked, then is there any other reasonable explanation why they were changed
when no one was logged in? I don’t know what to tell my client about the safety
of this plug-in on his site.

 * None of us with access to the back-end of the site has updated the plugin. Cold
this mean the site was hacked. Posting tweets doesn’t changes these files, does
   it?
