In reply to: Social Media WidgetUhhhh, sorry I found it. :”D
I went to this page,
http://www.marianvlad.ro/?p=445
interesting.
Instead of making the suggested changes I:
Opened the nextgen-gallery/lib/navigation.php file and replaced:
$this->output = "<div class='ngg-navigation'>$r</div>"; } else { $this->output = "<div class='ngg-clear'></div>"."\n";
with:
$this->output = ""; } else { $this->output = "";
Seemed to work, removed the pagination links below the gallery. Works so far for me.

In reply to: can I put widget items in post?Thanks guys!
But I guess I was not clear in my question. What I want is to be able to move the functionality of a tool like Wickett Twitter Widget, which displays the Twitter latest updates from a Twitter user inside your theme’s widgets, to a post.
To be very specific. I would like to have a sticky post that’s contents are a twitter feed. So every time the post is loaded the contents will be updated to the latest 5 or 10 tweets form my twitter account.

In reply to: basic html help, help!Yes thank you Alex, that fixed it! It is working perfectly now. I love the plugin. Thanks to James for the tip!
I added
<?php wp_footer(); ?>
to the footer.php.Thanks also for the notes on html Alex.
Oddly the code tag still does work, oh well for now, syntaxHighlighter is better anyway.

In reply to: basic html help, help!the plugin works, in that it does display the code in full. Thanks.
Unfortunately it does not seem to style the text. I just get the code against a white background. Improved, but not fixed. I may have to rewrite all of the css. it’s acting weird now.
I’ve updated the post

In reply to: basic html help, help!Yeah, I’m not sure why but the code tag has never worked for me, does nothing. That is why I wrote my own css class just to add a gray background and border.
A good question might be: why does the code tag do nothing? Please look at my css if you like, maybe the answer could be found there.
http://oliverwolfson.com/wp-content/themes/oliverwolfsondotcom/style.cssStill the pre tag should hide the html, no??
This is the custom “code” css I am using:
.code { color: dimgray; font-family: courier, serif; background-color: #EEEEEE; padding: 10px; border: 1px solid #888888; margin: 0 20px 0 20px; width: 530px; }

In reply to: bulk delete plugin, admin page not loadingThanks!!
I did everything on the thread, and the page still will not load.
Seems to be loading more information now, it takes a lot longer, but eventually I get the “done” page-load message, and a blank page. Maybe this plugin tries to load too much information at one time?

In reply to: Add “Home” to the Pages sidebar linkswell, I mean that only pages will show up under the “pages” sidebar widget.
currently I have an “about” link. I would like to add a homepage link, you know Link to the index.PHP, first page you see at the root directory. But I am not sure how to add that to the list, or if it is even possible. Somehow I think it is possible…
thanks!

In reply to: RSS feed aggregatorWell first of all you are right, and that was part of my problem. I’ve been using this link to feed RSS to another aggregator and it seemed to work. Anyway using the proper RSS link fixed that particular problem.
Secondly I think I figured out how to create the bulletin as I wanted. What I did is to have the feed word press plug-in creates a new category for each individual feed. then I created a new page and used the following code to create posts blocks, to display items for each RSS item individually. It works exactly as I wanted it to.
query_posts('cat=6'); while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;"><strong><a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to <?php the_title_attribute(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?> <?php the_time('F jS, Y'); ?></a></strong></p> <?php endwhile;?>

In reply to: Add “Home” to the Pages sidebar linksIs there a way to add “Home”, the default face page, to the list of links on the Pages sidebar menu links?
So it would read like:
Pages
Home
