Payment Plugins

Hi @wmacmill
Is this by design?
Yes, it’s by design. Your customers can add an ACH payment method on the Change Payment Method page which is controlled by WooCommerce Subscriptions. That is the most appropriate page for a customer to add a payment method that is to be associated with a subscription.
Future versions will support ACH on the Add Payment Method page.

In reply to: [Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce] Plugin Blocking PurchaseHi
This issue is definitely caused by the plugin; it goes away when we replace the plugin with WooCommerce
That doesn’t mean it’s caused by this plugin. If it’s a cache related issue then it makes sense it wouldn’t do that if you switch plugins; that’s the nature of caching, if you switch to a plugin that wasn’t previously cached, you’re going to get the uncached files.
Can you provide a ticket # that can be reference?
Thanks
Hi,
Would you please check this screenshot and let me know why this fees is being deducted?
The plugin is showing you the transaction fee that PayPal charges and what your net payout from PayPal looks like.
and please explain the meaning of this fee too.
PayPal is not a free service, they charge a transaction fee. The plugin is showing you how much they are charging for the payment.

In reply to: [Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce] How to add Captcha to checkout? To add reCAPTCHA you will need to install a reCAPTCHA plugin. Here are a few options that we have received good feedback on:

Thank you for the update. Now that you have the domain association file issue resolved, make sure you click the Register Domain button on the Apple Pay Settings page.
When you click that button, the plugin automates the upload of the domain association file and creates the domain entry in Stripe.

Hi @lindenhoff
Yes, there are plans to release support for recurring payments through iDEAL in the next release of the plugin.
You can contact us here if you would like to test that functionality before it’s released.

Until then, would it help to remove the Paypal button on the product page so that the customer has to go through the shopping cart or checkout?
Yes, I recommend you remove PayPal from your product pages for now.
Thanks
I was not able to recreate the issue you described after several attempts.

Hi @fwkart,
The reason the fields aren’t being included is because when the PayPal button is clicked on a product page, the PayPal plugin sends parameters that are specific to WooCommerce for adding an item to the cart.
The product_id, variation_id, and variation attributes are sent in the request. Custom fields are not accounted for.
We would need to update the plugin code so that custom fields are also sent in the request.
Kind Regards,
but why is it not loading?
I don’t know. I provided an example of the most likely reason from my experience.
And why does the stripe plugin load in order overview?
All active plugins load each time a request is made to WordPress. This is part of how WordPress is designed and isn’t something unique to this plugin.
The plugin does have code that interacts with the order status change so it can attempt to capture authorized order based on status. You can locate those settings in the Advanced Settings page of the Stripe plugin.
Thanks
Hi @fawadinho
But this is not right, the subscription status should not change as long as the SEPA process is running
There are many unique business process within WooCommerce, what works for one doesn’t work for another. There is no one right or wrong way to do something. That is why you can use filter
wc_stripe_renewal_pending_order_status
to change the status to whatever you would like. Thanks
The Stripe plugin uses composer, which means the classes for the Stripe library are loaded dynamically. If a class isn’t found, that usually means the following
- You have a plugin that’s using a custom class loader with logic that is not propertly loading classes based on name and directory.
Here you can see that class does exist in this plugin: https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/woo-stripe-payment/trunk/vendor/stripe/stripe-php/lib/Service/CoreServiceFactory.php

Hi @fwkart
However, I have discovered a bug
An incompatibility with another plugin or custom code isn’t necessarily a bug, support just might need to be added.
I have products in my store where the customer can enter data. This data is displayed in the shopping cart and in the checkout as a variation.
So these custom fields are rendered on the product page only? Are you using a plugin or custom code for these product page fields? If a plugin, which one?
Are you able to share a link to a product page so we can review?
Kind Regards,
Hi,
That announcement by Google has no effect on this plugin or the GPay payment method offered through it.
Thanks
Hi @med015
It looks like you have disabled PayPal on your product page. Can you re-enable so we can test?
