In reply to: [Rotating Tweets (Twitter widget and shortcode)] Default Message/No Tweets? That would work.
Any thoughts on what you’d like the message to be? It’s an easy fix to add a different message for this scenario.

In reply to: [Rotating Tweets (Twitter widget and shortcode)] SSL BreakingMy site doesn’t do this… so hard to judge without having a look.
Have you updated the links at /wp-admin/options-general.php ?

In reply to: [Rotating Tweets (Twitter widget and shortcode)] Can’t get the search workingHappy to have helped.
Rotating Tweets does cache old searches, so if you leave it in place it will build up the number of tweets shown over time.

In reply to: [Rotating Tweets (Twitter widget and shortcode)] Can’t get the search workingBy default, search has a very small time window – 7 days. Have you tried in a search which would definitely be delivering a result from the last day or so?

In reply to: [Rotating Tweets (Twitter widget and shortcode)] User Link not workingHmmm…. I hadn’t realised that had happened.

In reply to: [Rotating Tweets (Twitter widget and shortcode)] Transition delaySomehow Rotating Tweets is inside a slider – which is the thing that’s moving it.
I’m not sure that delaying things would solve the problem – unless there was a bit of code that just hid Rotating Tweets altogether for a few seconds.
Is there a way to put RT on the page in the place you want – but not in a slider?
Very mysterious. Thank you for letting me know!
Best wishes,
Martin
Very odd. Is there a setting or plug-in in your Firefox that might do this.
In my copy, it’s showing fine – as per here

Hi Mark,
I can’t replicate it at the moment. Is it still happening?
Best wishes,

In reply to: [Rotating Tweets (Twitter widget and shortcode)] Rotation not working in EdgeGuiseppe,
My best bet is that jQuery is started more than once in the HTML – possibly due to an old plug-in or theme. But it’s hard to tell without looking at the page.

Hi Janet,
Glad you like it!
The best way to do this is normally to go to the advanced search page on Twitter and use it to construct the query.
In this case, you get something like:
[rotatingtweets search='#hashtag from:mpntod']Martin
