 * Further info. When it breaks and tells me theres an error the date goes back 
   to 1970 and only gives me a date range in the 70s and 80s!

 * Hi Guys, is this actually possible? If not I will move and find another solution.

 * Hi Tim
 * Thanks for that. I just installed the plugin Simple 301 Redirects. I put the 
   first redirect in, its not currently working. Does it take a while to propogate?
   Also, does it matter that the actual url I want to be the correct one is actually
   a path to a category list? and not an actual page?

 * Sorry, should have said. I get past the point were I put in the FTP details, 
   then in just hangs. I refresh and then get the white screen in the backend and
   the front end.
