 * thanks for reply.
    I have tried this but nothing happens.
 * I had installed postie plugin, on that day, created categories and tested postie
   with multiple cateogries. it was working fine.
    after a week, I checked again,
   and found :posts after that day are not shown,even they are in db, these posts
   were created by postie.. :categories I created on that day not shown, could not
   verify db as I do not know which table to check for categories, :postie plugin
   removed automatically. no longer seen in admin. maybe I could check if its files
   are still there..

 * it happened to my blog also.
    all categories are deleted automatically. repair
   does not help. using 3.0.1 my bolg is at jobs.anomsoft.com
