Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, it looks like they may need to take another look at their servers. Two nights ago, my counter said 531 spam deleted and the next day it registered 537 deleted with nothing in the folder. I hope that it was a minor glitch and they are working on it.
Again, though, thanks for the info. That let’s me know that I was not losing my mind.
This has been happening to me as well. Last night, my Akismet counter showed it had caught 446 spam comments. This morning when I woke up, the counter showed 495 spam comments caught, but there was nothing in my spam queue to review. (I do not have the box checked to auto-delete spam on posts older than a month.)
This all started about a week ago and I am troubled by this because I want to see the spam comments and determine for myself if these are spam or not.
Any insight available?
