 * Thanks, that was the answer. Turns out I had an attachment with the same title
   as the specific post. After changing that, everything works as it should.
 * But… How can you avoid this problem? If someone were to upload a new attachment
   and name it the same as an existing post, won’t the problem be back?

 * It worked for me. All that needs to be done is to add the two variables, and 
   all the problems disappear 🙂

 * I have the exact same problem. A homemade theme. I don’t get it?
 * I have several events in the near future, but the widget just says “No upcoming
   events at this time”.

 * Thank you for that. I’m afraid I’m not sure how exactly to override them? Do 
   I need to do it in the plugin folder, and won’t that mean that they’ll be overridden
   again on the next plugin update?
