 * My host is Hostito.
 * Since upgrading and deactivating the plug-ins mentioned above, I’ve received 
   a pingback or two and not had a problem. I guess this deserves further investigation,
   but I’m happy for the moment in not crashing every time somebody links to me.
   Maybe I’ll take it up with Hostito after the weekend.

 * OK, I’ve upgraded to 2.3.2 and shut off Subscribe to Comments and Relish Comments
   plugins. Any other suggestions?
