 * In fact, the import I have managed to do has made matters worse, and the menus
   aren’t functioning as they should. I’m about to give up on Neve completely, so
   I really hope you have some advice that can resolve this issue.

 * Hi Andrei,
 * I’m looking at Settings -> Permalink now, and I’m not clear what exactly you 
   need to do there. All I can see are various options for how post/page URLs are
   generated, such as “Plain”, “Day and Name” etc. There’s nothing in particular
   here (that I can see) that would allow me to set the vague “Permalink structure”
   you haw referred to? My settings are currently at “Day and name”. I haven’t worked
   with WordPress is this kind of detail before – am I missing something?
 * Regarding your second suggestion, my WordPress adress and site address are already
   the same. The import still fails at the “Importing Content” stage, even with 
   all plugins deactivated.
 * I’ve had to import from the site library by deactivating the import of the content
   and it worked, which is obviously a huge loss and impedes the Neve’s usability
   for me. Do you have any ideas what coul be the issue regarding the import of 
   the content specifically?

 * Hi Rodica,
 * I’ve done as you asked – I deactivated all my plugins and the import still won’t
   go past “Importing Content”. At the moment part of the error message reads as
   follows: “It seems there is a configuration issue with your server that’s causing
   the import to fail.” I have included the full error text below this message. 
   I’m not sure what the configuration issue could be. Could that error come up 
   as a result of limited disk storage space for the given domain? We’ve been having
   some problems wih space recently, but there is almost 1GB free. How big is this
   import? (I have no idea how to check this myself.)
