 * Answered my own question. I just need to make sure my image links weren’t abrreviated.

 * Change in my question. The reason the images are not showing up is because I 
   changed the default for the permalink for my posts. Is there a way to change 
   it without screwing up all my images?

 * I got rid of the preexisting banner, now I just need to figure out why my image
   is only showing up on some browsers.
