Hi Tobias,
That looks to have solved my issue!
Thanks, Michael
Hi Dimitris / Anton,
It looks like the issue has been half fixed now. I can confirm that I am now able to edit the bottom attribute in the list. So whatever change you have made has helped.
However, the message in the footer (https://snipboard.io/6PDVaz.jpg), I am told by WooCommerce should not be appearing on these pages at all. They said the below:
“This is the specific CSS: https://cld.wthms.co/uDtTuB
Normally on the attributes page that footer text is never shown: https://cld.wthms.co/2CiAFG
It normally is hidden via CSS, but a plugin on your site called Smush is overriding that CSS: https://cld.wthms.co/uDtTuB
I modified that CSS in my browser and it appears as it should: https://cld.wthms.co/vHF0mT
I think Smush needs to only use their CSS when on a Smush setting page.”
I hope this helps you fix the issue. Please can you follow the guidance outlined by WooCommerce above so that your plugin is not influencing the CSS of pages outside your own plugins settings page. Particularly in the case of your CSS overriding the block that WooCommerce applied in their CSS to stop the footer message from appearing on pages like the Attributes page.
Hi Dimitris,
Try adding twice that number of variations and then test it again.
That message you are showing at the bottom of the screen should not be on them pages at all!!! You need to go and speak to WooCommerce about why your plugin is making that message appear at the bottom of the screen if you don’t know why yourself.
As advised by WooCommerce your plugins CSS should not influence anything outside of your own plugin. Please discuss with them and fix this ASAP.
Hi Anton,
Go to Attributes page under the products section of WooCommerce. If you have a long attributes list then you will see that the “Thank you for selling with WooCommerce …… Version 5.2.2” footer message appears over the top of the last attribute which stops the user pressing the edit or delete button.
WooCommerce said this is because of your CSS influencing WooCommerce pages somehow and as a result the message is showing when it shouldn’t on all WooCommerce pages.
That’s the extent of the info I got. But they were certain that it was your CSS that was at fault and not their side after they tested it to make sure. They said that when they altered your plugin CSS to not influence WooCommerce pages in their tests it fixed the issue. They told me to post in here and advise you to check and alter your CSS so that you are not trying to influence areas outside of your own plugins pages.
If you need additional info then please contact WooCommerce support and reference my username. They will have a record and be able to give more clarity on how exactly you need to fix your CSS to stop it conflicting.
Your plugin “Smush” has the conflict in your CSS with WooCommerce pages
Hi Monique,
It looks fine to me. The issue I experienced is not present on yours. If you believe there’s an issue then try creating a new post on here to flag it or email support@wpforms.com
Hi Monique,
Log in to your website through wordpress on a desktop (so you are actually looking at your websites pages). At the top of the page there will be a black wordpress banner with a button that says “customise”, press that and a page will load up. On the left hand side will be a controls window that’s open and at the bottom of it will be a tab that says “Additional CSS” or “Custom CSS”, press that and then in the box just copy and paste the code that has been provided. If you had the same issue as me then when you press the publish button and refresh the page with the error on it will now be fixed. If issue is still not solved or you have a different issue then you’ll probably have to create a new post on here with link and explanation of error like I had to.
Hi Jess,
That’s now fixed both my issues. Many thanks for providing the Custom CSS code.
Marking this as resolved.
Hi Monique, I have emailed Ethan Choi (Technical Support Specialist) complaining again. They said they would issue a fix by now if I went through the forum, but still nothing.
The submit button is causing issues on mobile in its current state by extending the page.
This is quite a high priority fix as the page will be getting marked down by Google indexing.
