It figures, come to think of it. The problem is the [async-javascript](https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/async-javascript/) plugin. I added this because of google pagespeed test, but the side effect is that we don’t know if all scripts will be active in the right order and there seems to be some inter dependency. Looks like it’s too late sometimes. The backstretch-set.js script is also loaded asynchronously, but there is a dependency between the two. I had the same problem after installing this wpclip. I think it maybe related to the theme i’m using. However, i installed “Genesis bootstrap carousel” that seems to have exactly the same function as the responsive slider. Yes, adding my code resolves the errors. After the last update, the JS errors are back, see [this post](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/javascript-error-80) line 177 is now line 275. The second error (the keydown) is no longer present.
