  • I had the same behaviour some weeks ago. For me it turned out that it had something to do with the content of the basic notifications.

    If I had add the course progress bar via a merge code, I had the notifications reappearing again and again. I then removed the course progress bar and everything worked finde.

    Hope that helps.

    I’ve created and installed an extra plugin for doing similar things. This works fine for me.

    Here you can see the code of my plugin:

    <?php // don’t copy this line into your functions.php file
    /*
    Plugin Name: lifterlms default settings
    */
    // remove the course author image and related author data
    remove_action( ‘lifterlms_single_course_after_summary’, ‘lifterlms_template_course_author’, 40 );

    // remove from tile on course and membership catalogs
    remove_action( ‘lifterlms_after_loop_item_title’, ‘lifterlms_template_loop_author’, 10 );

    add_filter( ‘llms_course_meta_info_title’, ‘__return_empty_string’ );

    // remove the list of associated course category links
    remove_action( ‘lifterlms_single_course_after_summary’, ‘lifterlms_template_single_course_categories’, 30 );

    I’d like to answer as follows:

    Did you check other LMS solutions? I’ve tried some cloud based solutions, e.g. German blink.it. There you’ll have at least 29,- Euro each month for the basic package. With less flexibility. Others are similar. Or have a look at udemy.com. They’ll take 50% of your turnover (or more, depending what marketing functions you’ve chosen).

    So, yes – it’s not cheap if you need payment functions. But it’s also not expensive for so much features you’ll get.

    If you want to get a good product with good quality, you can’t expect to get it for free…I don’t like this “all for nothing” mentality.

    I think you’ve run in a pitfall by upgrading from version 2.7.x to version 3.x. Up to version 2.7.x the paypal gateway was for free, afterwards not (because also of some more functionallity). It was stated in the announcement of version 3.x.

    I also was not very happy about that…but there were a lot more benefits in version 3.x so we decided to upgrade to version 3.x. (also version 2.7.x was not supported any longer).

    I’ve tested it on a local environment on my laptop.
    I’ll check this in the evening on our live environment. If there is the same problem I’ll set up a new live instance for investigation purposes…

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Andrew,

    yes I’ve checked it.

    In the print preview it is displayed but not in the generated PDF.

    Kind regards
    Matthias
