However, proper use of WordPress Move does not lead to breaking of the original site. I see some people are having trouble finding the documentation or claiming the instructions are not clear enough. I agree and I plan to rewrite the documentation from the scratch. * It actually does move the files. If it did not give any errors during the migration, regarding transferring files, then probably your files reside somewhere in your new server. Not the other way around. That way your current installation will be able to connect your new server. * I’m aware of the fact that Remote Backup Path is really confusing, even for the people with some technical knowledge. However, it is a piece of information that depends on the way your server is set up, the way your FTP account is set up etc, so it is not possible to guess what it might be. Navigate to `/wp-content/ plugins/wordpress-move/backup/`. Somewhere on your FTP client, there must be a text box showing the full path to where you are, like, `/public_html/wp/wp- content/plugins/wordpress-move/backup/`. That is exactly what you need to enter to the **Remote Backup Path** field.
