 * Never mind. Loose files was what I was talking about. I didn’t know that was 
   the term but I figured it out now.

    So I don’t replace any of the other files like all the php files underneath
   the folders?

 * If it’s in the installed plugin section, then you can just activate it and use
   it.

 * Thanks everyone, I’ve solved my problem. I wasn’t using Apache on my site. Now
   that I switched, it works.

 * Check to see if the plugin is in your installed plugin place. For me, if a plugin
   fails to download, it still shows up in me installed plugins section.
