I agree that it’s most likely another plugin that is eating up he bulk of the memory. You can ask your hosting provider to help you debug this further. I’m surprised that they told you to ask us about that. * Once a user is unsubscribed, bounced or otherwise blacklisted MailChimp doesn’t offer us any way to re-subscribe that email over the API. I do believe it may be possible to re-susbcribe the user by manually adding it to your list or by using an embedded form. * Just for your information: I notice you may be using the old version of UserSync, as the new version of usersync doesn’t support subscribing and unsubscribing any longer. We do not provide support for the old UserSync plugin at this time. * Hope that helps. Double opt-in is either on, or off. * I recommend using 1 list (audience) and split that list in multiple interest groups.
