It is unrelated to content control so we can all make a collective sigh of relief. When we are using the child theme of Kava the error is there, but when we change to the parent theme of Kava the error goes away. When I navigated to the content control settings page it was still empty. I tried refreshing a few times and found 2 javascript errors happening, but only sometimes. They are the following: * 1.
