 * By the way, those items in my robots.txt file which had the disallow command,
they pertain to nonexistent folders (such as /recommends and /promovideos). Those
folders don’t actually exist, they were there only to prevent googlebot from
indexing my jump script which uses such syntax. As far as I know, they shouldn’t
have blocked googlebot (or anything else for that matter).
 * However, even those items have been deleted so my robots.txt file shouldn’t block
   anything anymore.

 * I’ve deleted all the items with disallow in my robots.txt file now. There are
only several allow items in my robots.txt file now.
 * However, when I turn on Jetpack, I still get “Partial” success, whereas without
Jetpack I usually get “complete” success with fetch and render…
 * Admittedly, I do get “partial” even with Jetpack turned off SOMETIMES, but when
Jetpack is turned on I ALWAYS get “partial”.
 * I know that Jetpack isn’t supposed to block googlebot, but it seems it does for
   some odd reason.

 * Does anyone have any idea why this issue occurs? The sitemap used to work flawlessly
but now even after my hosting restored all the plugins from about a week ago (
from backup) the issue still persists.
 * The sitemap is generated whenever I publish a new post, but it doesn’t include
new posts… as if it got stuck at one of yesterday’s posts and doesn’t want to
   add anything after it.

 * To be honest… I am not sure when Jetpack was updated last. I think it might have
been recently… e.g. 15 days ago or so.. but don’t quote me on that.
 * However, even with that update about a few weeks ago nothing was slowing down
the blog until today or yesterday. And today or yesterday I don’t recall changing
   anything at all.
 * It seems my blog has some other issues because even when jetpack and popular
posts tabbed widget are turned off, WP Tuner reports some significant lags under“
   Page generation performance” in:
 * plugins_loaded
    get_sidebar posts_selection
 * and within SQL Database performance in:
 * wp_posts

 * Hi,
 * Yes, this has resolved my issue – thanks!
 * I use the widget in the widget section and it seems I used the wrong syntax (
I put spaces after commas). So instead of writing “5,3,4” I would write “5, 3,
   4” (without quotes).
 * The way I put spaces is actually the standard in correct punctuation for most
languages (you have to put a space after a comma), but I didn’t know that for
this plugin/widget one must leave out all spaces.
 * Anyway, again – thanks for a nice plugin and for your help.

 * That would fix the invisibility of the rest of the tabs, but in that case every
other text that is displayed in the sidebars (categories, tags, monthly archives
etc.) is displayed in that darker color (#999) which doesn’t look too good. You
can see how it looks at the moment… a bit too dark for my taste.
 * Is there a way to change the background color for the top horizontal bar of the
widget itself (where the tabs are located)? Currently it is set to white color,
and if we could change it to, e.g. some darker shade of gray then white text
would be readable on the widget…

 * Just to clarify the previous statement – I can’t see the title “Comments” and“
Recent” if the “Popular” tab is selected.
 * In other words, the font color is probably the same as the background color and
that makes the titles of the tabs unreadable, except the currently selected one.

 * The plugin you suggested (Auto post thumbnail) works very well and now I can
see the thumbs in the widget – thanks!
 * The only thing that I am still not completely happy about is that I can’t see
the names of the other tabs except for the currently selected one. For instance,
if I select the “Popular” tab in the widget I can’t see “Comments” and “Recent”
tabs. I can see “Comments” and “Recent” if I select them or mouse over them.
 * I suspect this is some css issue. Any idea how this can be fixed?
 * Regards.

 * I don’t use “featured image” in my posts, but the option for setting featured
image does exist in my WP dashboard (which might suggest that my theme supports
it, but I am not sure).
 * There is a plugin that can turn the first image from every post into the featured
   image for that post ([http://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-add-thumbnail/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-add-thumbnail/))
but it seems that that plugin generates featured images only when they are called
within the posts. I installed it and it didn’t replace the default wordpress
thumbs in the Popular Posts Tabbed Widget.
 * Is there any way to make this work somehow?

 * I still don’t know where that code should be placed. In my theme’s css file or
in some other css file? If I put it in my theme’s css file nothing happens.
 * As for the Tabbed Widget it is right below the “Top Posts and Pages”. You can
find it if you search for the text “Popular Posts Tabbed” in your browser.

 * ——–Warning! This post contains links to a website that is NSFW!——
 * OK, my blog is [http://www.roughstraightmen.com](http://www.roughstraightmen.com)
 * You can see those thumbnails in the right sidebar, somewhere in the middle of
the page (you have to scroll down), and the title is “Top Posts & Pages”.
 * As you can see, the thumbs look too small and are barely distinguishable. So
I wanted to make these thumbs a bit larger.
 * The code that you proposed in the first post has been added to my theme’s css
file, but it seems to have no effect.
 * By the way, while we are at it, the widget “Popular Posts Tabbed Widget” also
doesn’t work properly. It displays the default “WordPress” thumbnail instead
of thumbs taken from respective posts. You can see that widget right below the“
   Top Posts and Pages” widget.
 * Any idea how to make the Popular Posts Tabbed widget work as well?

 * Hi, thanks for the answer. But I don’t know which css file you mean exactly?
   Where can it be located?
 * I tried putting that code in my theme’s css file but nothing has changed.
