    fixed it, my mistake!

To begin, I use both WordPress (marvelinthesky.com) and Drupal (jollydregs.com) ((sorry they are down currently, moving to new web host)) and am moderately skilled when it comes to xhtml/css. I started off with Drupal (via tutorials on Lynda.com) and it did take a good deal of time (2+ weeks of devotion and use) to figure out the method/process for modifying themes and making views (you will need to moderately know html/css). When I decided to do my blog site in WordPress I also watched some tutorials for prep but it took less than a week to get things up and running. That said, I actually found the simplicity offered to WordPress’ users (by keeping some things behind the scenes) harder at some level cause I know what to modify and can’t get to it or don’t understand how everything connects yet (probably just me)… I like them both, but I suggest picking one for the long haul and not planning to jump later, cause that will be hard.
