 * Thank you for the clarification. On closer inspection even if it is your plugin
   block-element the feature is part of another (otter). So it won’t even work because
   it will most propably not hide events but the whole block.
 * The request can be closed. Although the functionality to filter/restrict by date&
   time would be a very handy feature.
   I will try to achieve that through shortcode
   with the “individual_events” parameter.

 * It seems it was a server coniguration problem. As soon as I deactivated the “
   LightSpeed Cache” plugin the missing button reappeared.
