 * Hi,
 * I posted a similar problem about my home page earlier in the forum.
 * I followed the advice on this post to deactivate my redirection plugin and it
   fixed my issue.
 * So it appears that some plugins (redirection plugins for sure) are wreaking a
   little havoc with the 3.0 upgrade.

 * I noticed other forum posters having trouble with their home pages and a suggestion
   was to disable a redirection plugin if it was being used.
 * I followed the advice to deactivate my redirection plugin and it fixed the problem.

 * Is there a plugin similar to “FD Feedburner Plugin” that is better or less likely
   to screw me up?

 * Thanks a million! I wasn’t expecting a response so quickly.
 * I did as you said and deactivated all of my plugins and then reactivated them
   one at a time. It turned out that the culprit was my “FD Feedburner Plugin”.
 * I uninstalled it, reinstalled it and then reactivated it. Everything is back 
   to normal.
 * Thanks again. I was pulling my hair out in frustration.
