It required two steps: * 1. In Google Tag Manager, create a new tag with the following settings: -Tag Type = “Universal Analytics” or “Classic Google Analytics” -Track Type = “Event”- Event Tracking Parameters = _User discretion_ * 2. Thank you for the help. * One thing I did notice which could be completely unrelated. * The ‘Default Post Category’ isn’t used when posting via xml-rpc (or at least with the android app) and posts with no category selected are placed into ‘Uncategorized’. Although, the ‘Default Post Category’ is used when posting from the Dashboard.
