 * Hello Kevin,
 * I did post the them in my previous post.
 * I can supply you the theme as they update it very often so I’m sure they won’t
   mind. the theme is not free though 🙁 but this happens even when I use WP default
   themes. – if the theme displays the data but the re-editing of the product category
   itself causes the content to vanish, isn’t that just a value somewhere in the
   code?

 * Yep, I have the same thing here.
 * 1. Edit the category(woocommerce product category), add all the cool stuff. (
   thanks! awesome plugin)
    2. Save it and it displays great! All shortcodes work
   too. 3. Attempt to edit and update the category content – and All the Content
   vanishes.. if you dn’t have the original content – make sure to NOT! click on
   save.. because that content will just disappear forever. – clicking off the page
   and going to the website-view to copy it all and then re-editing with all the
   images/text/code is needed.

    Wordpress Version 3.7.1 latest Woocommerce The maya theme by ‘yithemes’–
